Since 1992, the Balmoral has won many trophies and around 50 gold medals and the 1998 Balmoral was Winestate's Wine of the Year in a vintage that produced many great reds. The 1999 has all the deeply flavoured plummy fruit and peppery nuances of its distinguished predecessors. Velvety, ripe tannins abound throughout the long, complex finish.
