2001 ROSEMOUNT ESTATE ROXBURGH CHARDONNAY

The wine is complex and tightly structured, with initial citrus flavours flowing on to an intense mid palate of melon and pear. The richly textured fruit is perfectly balanced by crisp acidity, subtle lees yeastiness and cedary oak. The fruit intensity and structure indicate a long cellaring future. Matt Koch
